Meet Our Artists

Each piece at Nomad Warsaw carries the story of its creator — their life, culture, and passion for handcraft. Below we present the artists whose works shape our unique collection.

Laurence Leenaert founded LRNCE in Marrakech in 2013, merging Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary design, ceramics, and textiles. Her studio is located in a traditional riad, and her works carry a nostalgic touch of the 1950s and 60s, with a unique sense of color and form. Each piece is an artistic interpretation of Moroccan landscapes and spontaneous gestures. LRNCE symbolizes creative freedom and a bold approach to tradition.

Los Objetos Decorativos is a project by Rosa Rubio, an artist from Valencia, who since 2015 has been creating sculptural objects balancing between art and utility. Her pieces are handcrafted in Spain in limited editions, giving them a unique, collectible character. Each form reflects Rosa’s subtlety and sensitivity, celebrating the beauty of everyday life. Her projects clearly show Mediterranean lightness and minimalism.

IBKKI is a brand created by the duo Azel Ait‑Mokhtar and Youri Asantcheeff, who draw inspiration from their trips to Kabylie, Algeria. Their ceramics are sculptural, bold, and full of energy, blending traditional techniques with a contemporary approach to form. Each piece is born from experimentation and close collaboration with local artisans. IBKKI serves as a bridge between cultures and a visual story of courage in crossing boundaries.

Abenval is a brand founded by Spanish designer Pablo Alabau, who combines ceramics, architecture, and contemporary art. Abenval’s designs are minimalist, filled with subtle details and poetic elegance. Each piece is a conscious play on geometry and proportions, where function becomes part of the artistic expression. The collections are produced in limited editions, emphasizing their unique and exclusive character.

La Romaine Edition was founded by Pauline Vincent, a curator and design enthusiast, driven by her passion for table art and contemporary ceramics. The brand collaborates with European artisans, creating limited collections that highlight the beauty of everyday rituals. Each piece is a small manifesto of simplicity and elegance, celebrating details and craftsmanship. La Romaine Edition is an invitation to a tender, mindful way of living.

Sophie Lou Jacobsen is a French-American designer who boldly explores the boundaries between art and functional objects. Her glass forms are joyful, colorful, and full of life, with each shape celebrating movement and the fluidity of the material. She creates designs that transform everyday rituals, bringing lightness and freshness into the interior. Sophie works closely with local artisans in New York, nurturing the idea of handmade uniqueness.

La Gordiolla is one of the oldest glassworks in Europe, operating in Mallorca since 1719 and preserving the tradition of hand-blown glass. Each piece is created using ancient techniques, and every small imperfection is proof of the human touch. The unique shapes give each object a special, almost organic character. La Gordiolla symbolizes timeless craftsmanship and the spirit of Mallorca.

Mari Masot, also known as Marissa McInturff, is an artist born in the USA who has been creating in Barcelona since 2016. Her ceramics are inspired by Mediterranean simplicity and soft, natural forms. Each piece is handmade with great attention to detail and harmony. Mari Masot creates objects that encourage slowing down and savoring moments, bringing delicacy and poetic calm to interiors.
