Świecznik Tamegroute 1

890

The candle holder was made by local artisans in Tamegroute, Morocco. The name of the village means “the last place before the desert,” as it is located in the neighborhood of Sahara.

The process of making the candle holder has several stages. Firstly, clay is collected from the Draa River, which is mixed with water and molded. Once dry, the candle holder is fired and then covered with a glaze.

Each product is created by hand, so its form may differ slightly from that shown in the photo.
