We invite you to visit our stationary store at Solec 56 in Warsaw.

It all began with a journey. With a fascination for Morocco – its colors, its rhythm of life, and its everyday artistry. Over five years ago, we at Nomad Warsaw started working with Moroccan rugs. For several years, we collaborated with workshops across different regions, sourcing the most beautiful pieces we could find.

But eventually, we felt the need to create something of our own. Something more personal, more lasting. That’s how our project began, located in the Beni Mellal–Khénifra region – a place where women have passed down the art of weaving from mother to daughter for generations.

After years of experience, we decided to build something resembling a small cooperative – a space where five highly skilled weavers create rugs exclusively for us, in long-term partnership. This allows us to provide them with steady income and stability, while they dedicate themselves fully to their craft – creating rugs that are increasingly refined, beautiful, and meaningful. It’s a relationship built on trust and shared purpose.

Every rug is entirely handmade and made to order. The weaving process alone takes from one to three months, depending on size and complexity. Once finished, each rug is washed and brushed multiple times – up to seven rounds – until it reaches its signature softness and plush texture. Finally, it is sun-dried naturally, in the Moroccan light, making the process slow and organic.

Thanks to your support, this project continues to grow – which means more work and independence for our weavers, and ever more exceptional craftsmanship.

At Nomad Warsaw, we believe that true luxury isn’t about labels – it’s about honesty, time, and the human touch.

This isn’t just a rug. It’s a story woven from real relationships.
